Looking for Money in all the Wrong Places

Bearded man holding paper money

I think it's true that people love to find money or find ways to save money. Last week, I was walking along an empty parking lot and laying on the grass edge was $40 dollars! Two twenties just flapping in the breeze. What a lucky day!

Sometimes finding money is as easy as looking at the fringe. I'm not suggesting that you give up your day job to look for money along the roadside, but I am recommending a paradigm shift. There are lots of ways to make money in the world we live in. Sometimes it's right in front of us, but we fail to see the opportunity because of bias or even pride. The money flapping in the breeze is the low hanging fruit in a smile and friendly hand shake with the people that are all around you. That's where many think social media outlets are the answer. However, what most find, is a shallow and superficial existance online that leads to depression and even suicide. Younger generations watch people becoming superstars and chase the dollars that follow. Why? I don't claim to know that answer.

To pass the good find along to all of you, I've included some finds you may be interested in. Remember to reach out and let me know savings you find, or pass this article along to another veteran or someone who might like to save a buck or two.
