Coordinated assaults on private industry using the internet of things, such as last month's distributed-denial-of-service attack, which shut down parts of the internet, are likely to continue, the FBI said in a notice to private businesses. The source code used in October's attack is public and can be used by anyone with the technical knowledge to set up a "botnet," the FBI said. Read more here.
